Taco Fest, originally created because of a racist comment, has evolved into an inclusive fundraiser for Zavala and the community of WF. Taco fest strives to provide a fun and unifying environment that promotes racial equity in Wichita Falls by promoting local Hispanic vendors and authentic food.

About the Event
Enjoy a wide range of tacos from different regions and contests. Funds raised by Taco fest will go to scholarships for students from Wichita Falls and surrounding area who will like to continue their education, and educational programs that serve the diverse youth in Wichita Falls. These scholarship funds will be awarded by Zavala Hispanic Cultural Initiative, in collaboration with WFACF, during our annual Hispanic Leadership Banquet.
